About Us

Hello and welcome! We’re Diana Martín and Jérémy Fauveau — an international couple living in the beautiful country of Switzerland, brought together by our shared love for culture, traditions, and handmade art.

Let us share our story with you.

I'm Diana, born and raised in the vibrant city of Mexico City, with a Mexican mother and a French father. My childhood was filled with travels across Mexico, discovering its cultural richness. Thanks to my curious and passionate parents, I grew up surrounded by stories, colors, and traditions. That’s how I fell in love with artesanías — those handmade treasures, colorful and unique to each region. With every journey, I would bring home something special, dreaming that one day I could share these wonders with the rest of the world.

Jérémy grew up in France, with a French father and a Swiss mother. He moved to Switzerland at the age of 10. We met in the south of France during a humanitarian mission called Youth With A Mission — an experience that deeply impacted both of us. A few years later, we got married and started building our life together in Switzerland.

From the very beginning of our friendship, I shared my love for Mexican culture, its traditions, and its people with Jérémy. And when we traveled to Mexico for our honeymoon, he too fell in love — with the colors, the warmth, and the incredible heritage.

That’s when Artamerika was born.

Together, we decided to share the magic of Latin American artisan traditions with Switzerland — and beyond. For us, it’s not just about beautiful objects, but the stories they tell. Each piece reflects the heart, time, and talent of the artisan who created it, preserving ancestral techniques passed down through generations.

We’d be honored to take you on this journey with us — discovering the beauty, passion, and meaning that every handcrafted piece brings into the world.
